Help give my students the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills, engage with different materials, and discover basic physics principles through a sand and water table. A sand and water table is a wonderful open-ended tool which students can learn about measurement, how different materials move through space, and allows for students to conduct self-driven experiments. This important tool would allows students with different ability levels to engage in the sand and water in different ways. Students seeking tactile stimulation will be able to feel and move the material, while other students will use the table to create and explore different ideas.
