Hands-on, inquiry based learning is the essence of science. It helps students to see how science is relevant to their lives. Science students at Woodrow Wilson High School will be using the materials we are requesting to move forward with implementation of their water based STEAM projects. They are already in the planning stage, researching and sketching prototypes. As groups of students work together, they collaborate, think creatively and critically, and communicate with each other. Their learning is enhanced as a result. We are proud to know that they will be building skills critical for career success in any field.

About my class
