Research shows that when a student has there own device to work with, they feel more vested in the learning process become producers of their own digital format instead of just consumers. These devices will be utilized daily in my classroom learning environment through a Blended Learning format. This includes students working independently in Google Classroom and Google Drive to collaboratively create Project Based activities, research, and the use of tools such as Google Forms for both informal and formal assessments. By giving students their own device, it allows students to become active participants in their own learning instead of being fed information through traditional classroom format. In addition, by utilizing the comment option of Google Drive, students are able to work collaboratively with the teacher and classmates.
