The use of a play kitchen set would be beneficial in my classroom, especially to prepare our students for how to do daily living skills with more independence. Studies have shown that learning through play offers a "real life perspective" and a more hands-on approach. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student abilities for hands-on learning but, you will ultimately help to increase their achievement in independent daily living skills. By implementing the play kitchen set in my classroom, my students will learn to cook, clean and care in a learning environment.
