My students are full of creative imagination! In the art area they especially enjoy using paper, tape and other materials to create creatures, signs, automobiles and more! We are in need of organization so we will utilize more and waste less. The block area of our classroom is a high traffic area in need of better defined space and added comfort which will allow the children to spread out and play with puzzles, puppets and other interactive materials. A main focus in our classroom is collaboration and working as a team to lead ourselves to success. Our expectations say it all, "We are kind, we are safe, we are helpful, and we all work together!" Completing puzzles cooperatively, creating imaginative scenarios and plays with puppets, and designing creations all stimulate the children's higher-level thinking skills.
