I would like to have Privacy Shields for my First Grade classroom to assist the students in becoming more independent and focused on their individual assignments. Students are often asked during Math and Language Arts to complete assignments without the assistance of others. I tell my students, "Using the Privacy Shield is like being in your own private office where you can shut the door, think, and work without interruption and focus on doing your best." When students are able to focus without distraction, they are able to complete assignments and produce higher quality work, which is fundamental to their success.
