Many students are anxious when it comes to learning math. These light covers will help create a welcoming classroom environment for my students and take away the harsh and often negative impacts of fluorescent lighting. Research has linked this type of lighting to higher stress levels and also to having a negative impact on people with Tourettes/tics, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and many other mental health issues. I want to create the best environment possible for my students to learn in. A child should not be put at a disadvantage for their learning due to something that can be easily fixed, such as the class environment.
