These materials will be extremely beneficial for students in their college classes. A planner will assist the students to keep track of upcoming assignments, exams, events, etc. The pencils, pens and highlighters will assist the students in taking notes and highlight key terms and/or information in required textbook readings. The laptop will be raffled off to a senior and this will help that student complete his/her assignments outside of the classroom and will be used to type any essays. My students have limited resources to afford this on their own, therefore I want to be able to help them in this small way to get them a head start. These were just some of the things I needed while I was in college and they were extremely beneficial to me. I want to be sure they have the supplies to help them be organized and successful in college.
