I have 17 eager students who come to school ready to learn each day. Our school is an excellent school. In the past years it has been chosen as a choice school. This means students who are zoned for a school that is failing have the option to attend ours. Many parents take this opportunity because of the reputation our school holds. Each of my second graders have a passion to learn and are unique in their own way. Reading plays such an important role in the learning process. Through reading students increase their vocabulary, word learning, and knowledge about different concepts.
