Studies have proven that physical activity complements academic success. Students who are physically active tend to be more alert and receptive in the classroom, as opposed to those who sit all day without activity. With the increase in technology and social media students, today are not as active as they used to be. Educators know that if the bum is numb, the brain's the same. With tightened education budgets and more emphasis on test results, it is now more important than ever for students to be active during the school day. Students need a brain break in order to recharge.

About my class
