PreK focuses on a variety of self-help skills and social-emotional learning that my students desperately need after over a year at home isolated from others. One standard that truly speaks to me is TW.6.PK.9b Identify and explore an area of interest. I want my students to know that the sky is the limit when it comes to their ideas and interests. They can be whatever they want! Not only will these items help my students develop functional skills they will encourage kindness, empathy, acceptance, and curiosity. I see so much potential in my class. They truly are the future.
