Students will use Lego sets to explore programming, robotics, create stop motion animation videos, and explore concepts such as area model, arrays, and fractions using Legos. Third grade students have been working on stop motion animations for the past few months but due to the lack of funding our LEGO collection remains highly limited and prevents the whole class from being able to participate in the progress with any regularity. With additional LEGO parts and components students will be able to participate and create with greater frequency. LEGOs would greatly transform our classroom and appeal to many different learners.

About my class
