Work-Based Learning students will need technology to help them apply for jobs. These computers would help them create a resume and cover letter and apply for jobs in an office-type cubicle. Students could also learn the valuable lesson of a well-written e-mail to your employer! Our Entrepreneurial students would be able to work on their marketing and branding campaigns through social media and website design as well as working on designing print materials and e-mailing customers. Examples of their businesses are; lawn care, tutoring, selling natural hair care products, jewelry design, baked goods, and custom artwork. Some entrepreneurial students have already developed an in-house social media marketing company to help promote student clubs and organizations. An up-to-date computer would help these projects become more efficient and productive.
