Students with Autism benefit strongly from manipulatives and other materials. They enhance learning and give students a hands-on approach to Math and English Language Arts. It will surprise you on how much difference a counter or teddy bear can make counting easier and FUN! Students with autism also love BRAIN BREAKS! Especially after having to sit and focus for long periods of time! The sensory items will provide our students with an outlet to explore! By donating to our Project, you will be lighting up the "educational" lives of our students with Autism! The materials that you donate will support the students in their general education classes, while in inclusion, and through exploring their senses.

About my class
