At the present time, my classroom has the traditional "set up" in terms of student seating. Each of my students have their own desk and chair. I also have a "reading table", as well as a table that houses the use of the classroom iPads. I have a designated "circle time" area in my classroom. My students use each of these areas each and every day. However, my classroom furniture does not allow much differentiation in terms of meeting student sensory needs. First graders need options for seating and learn best when they are able to move around the classroom!
