Scholars in my classroom receive differentiated phonics skills every week based on what they need. They have been doing a great job practicing independently to build new words using their sounds. I want to ensure that word work is fun and engaging so that they enjoy learning how to read and write words. In addition to the word work supplies we already have (colored glue, stamps, play-doh, and magnetic letters), scholars will never get bored with all of the options. Hands-on learning provides scholars with memorable experiences encouraging a love for learning!
