Many of our students don't have the funds to get the necessities for college, therefore our goals are for students to be successful in college and have the tools they need for their college endeavors. The printer and laptop will allow them to complete their assignments on their own terms. The dorm room essentials such as the comforter set, clothes hamper, towels, desk lamps, and extension cords are for them to have a comfortable transition into their new home. During our event, we will raffle of these items to the students. Due to them being low income students of color, they already have some financial insecurities. With this donation, the selected students and their families will have less expenses to worry about when it come to the student's college necessities.
