The students in our class are in need of organizational tools such as seat sacks. We do not have desks--we have tables. The students need help to organize all of their books. We are constantly shifting back and forth to bookcases to transition and get different books. This causes a lot of lost instructional time. The students become more disengaged in the instruction because of the shuffling back and forth. Also, it causes more disruptions to the class. Students are more likely to bump into other and become distracted. If they each have a personal seat sack, they simply have to turn around to take out a book. Having seat sacks will better help to ease transitions within the room!
