My students want to do well on every test, every day, but often come to school hungry through no fault of their own. When we take the state test, it is vitally important that they be able to focus so that they can do the best they can. By providing my students with a nutritious breakfast the morning of the test, we are able to take one worry off of their shoulders and allow them to concentrate better. This improved concentration leads to a more positive result on the test and puts all of the kids on an even playing field.
