I would like to have the ability for my students to use iPads for a multitude of projects and research. We currently have some iPads in the media center that have been used for reading e-books, doing iMovie projects, Green Screen projects, researching using databases, and more. Nonetheless, our iPads are getting old. Many had to be taken out of use because they would not update. They were just too old, and none of the apps worked. Devices allow the students to explore and develop technology skills that many take for granted. Many students don’t have access to technology at home, and our school environment provides the resources they need to become proficient technology users!
