The supplies I am requesting for my students will allow these students to not only engage in 21st century learning, but it will also allow us to FLIP our classroom on its head and bring the outside world in! My students absolutely love taking virtual field trips and discussing world features such as natural and man-made landforms. Many of my students, however, have never had the pleasure of leaving the southern states to visit these landforms. I would love to give my students the opportunity to reach across across the world by using Chromebooks and iPads in the classroom. With these supplies, they’ll collaborate in groups to visit the Statue of Liberty in New York, or the pyramids in Egypt. They can use these supplies to create green screen images of themselves and put themselves right in the middle of the action!
