One of the areas that our school district has not been able to excel in so far is robotics. Students have an innate interest and desire to interact with technology. The two robots that I would like to purchase for class would be an excellent bridge to help us span this knowledge gap. My vision is that after our students learn how to operate the robots, they can then take them down to our Pre-K students and help them learn how to interact with technology. Students would also help the preschoolers create stories or plays about the robots. When my 6th graders are able to teach programming basics to our preschoolers, I know they will be passing on a love of learning too.
