The Alive Studios software, is an amazing software that brings learning alive. Literally! The software in combination with a active board turns the regular letter, sight word, and picture cards into to audible moving objects! It is absolutely amazing! For example, if I show the letter B card it will say the letter, make the sound, and after a few moments a realistic bear will pop out of the card and roar. If I put that card in a sentence of other cards the visual can change. When I use the cards "The bear is red." The bear will turn red. If I change the red card to green, the bear will turn green, if I change the green card to run, the bear will start running. This software will help build my students' reading skills in our whole group and centers. According to their website, there is a 48% increase in letter naming fluency, 112% increase in letter sound fluency, and classroom management problems decrease. Also, students who typically have attention difficulties were constantly engrossed in the program. If I could afford the software for this program I would buy it today! I have researched the statistics of the software. I know this will be a vital tool in helping my students make leaps towards their personal reading and math goals. Please help me provide my students with a software program that will not only improve their reading and math skills but allow them to be actively engaged in such a fun way! Thank you for your support.
