Flexible seating allows students to have choices with how they will engage in their lessons. It will let them take charge and see what works best for them. Currently, my students have to sit at tables and chairs with the rest of their peers while learning. This works for most, but some students need to be able to move and be more comfortable. Making sure students are comfortable is essential in ensuring each child will get the most out of their learning experience. I feel flexible seating will eliminate negative behavior and those types of behaviors in general will be less of a factor and/or distraction.
