Chromebooks are going to enhance my students social studies skills through the use of technology. These Chromebooks will provide my students with technology that would otherwise not be available to them. Many come from low socioeconomic backgrounds which greatly limits their exposure to technology. Our school, students and staff were affected by Hurricane Harvey. Your donation will open my students' eyes to the world around them. They will be able to learn about other cultures and obtain new perspectives through collaboration with students across the globe. This will broaden their horizons, building a strong base for the challenges that they will face as our future leaders. My goal is to utilize technology so that my students will gain a deeper understanding of the world around them, opening up new possibilities for the future. My students will use the Chromebooks to utilize online resources that they would not have access to without a device.
