The students will use these materials to enable productive research in the classroom as sources to enable them to read, write and explore math and science. They can control the volume while they play, use headphones to block out other noises, and continue to practice without the other distractions. This will enhance the environment conducive for learning. For the ELL student, it is enabling them to actually listen and pay attention to the reader and have an audio enhanced learning environment that they can connect the sounds to the words they are reviewing and reading for productive discourse as assessment. After they are finished listening to their stories and creating a 'stop and jot' note-taking activity, it will also enable them to complete perfect research-based narratives in their writing journals.
