7th grade Life Science studies the Geologic Time Scale, the Human Body, Biomes, Cells, and Evolution. Virtual field trips will allow small groups of students to experience the unit of study first hand. Many special education students cannot retain verbal or written information but will benefit from a virtual "hands-on" experience. Oh, the places my students can go! We could travel to the dinosaur age or through the human body. Can you imagine visiting each biome to experience the ecological diversity first hand? I want to provide a way for my students to "see" what we are teaching in an engaging and "real" way.

About my class
