My plan is to use alternative seating to help students settle into reading and writing. I believe that all students learn in different ways and alternative seating can be a necessity for different types of learners, especially learners that need special accommodations. Alternative seating builds both a community and a cohesive, calm learning environment for all types of students. With this project, I will be able to serve 130 students. I hope this will make ALL student feel welcome and comfortable in the reading and writing world. These seats will be used during reading and writing time to help the students be comfortable. They will also be used for students with various learning disabilities so that they can focus and be their best.

About my class
