Flexible seating in the classroom leads to more focus on assignments, tasks, and discussions. I currently have two flexible seats in my room that the students need to take turns working in. Although I enjoy being able to teach the skill of taking turns, I would like all of my students to be able to focus on a task while feeling comfortable and safe in their environment. The students will use these seats to complete tasks from both my classes, and assignments from other teachers that may have been effected by their inability to focus without moving around. My goal is to improve their time on task by 80%.
