With so much of today's education being digital, students need a way to access these great resources. The Chromebooks will be used to communicate with their pen-pals in another state, participate in online learning games like iReady and Kahoot and look up information for research assignments and projects. These Chromebooks will provide a way to differentiate lessons at levels that the students will be able to understand; providing remediation to those students that need it. At the same time, they can provide enrichment to students that are above level and need more of a challenge. Our school is implementing a large number of STEAM activities throughout the year. Having this technology available to the students will further expand their interest in STEAM and engage them in a way that would not be possible through the use of just a paper and pencil.
