Team work and talk are awesome ways for students to process math and conceptual concepts. I am a 30 year veteran that has continued to improve instruction through new techniques. Currently my work has focused on engaging groups. But with large class sizes students sometimes need to focus and work alone. There are times during and after group tasks I want the students to work individually. The privacy shields will be a perfect way to let some students continue to work together while allowing some to work alone when needed. This will also help when I do assessing individually.
