Our hands on project involves building a FIRST Robotics robot. Having enough of the right tools for "the job" leads to more students learning the correct and safe way for students to learn to build. Our projects always start by building prototypes from inexpensive materials. Having enough tools allows us to involve more students. By starting with prototypes, we save money on the expensive materials on the final robot and students are able to see other concepts. The better the tools and mentorship, the better students learn to be precise when building. Well built robots will allow them to have pride when they show our robot to others.
