These anatomical models will help my students develop a hands-on understanding of the respiratory system and fetal development. We have been striving to create a library of human anatomy models to help educate our students. Having these models in the classroom will help students learn by allowing us to have stations set up to have small break out groups for individualized learning opportunities. Nothing can compare to being able to hold a lung in your hand, instead of just looking at it in a book or on the big screen. Being able to follow the path of air in and out of the body will give them immense value and allow them to see where different disease processes target. With the fetal development models, my students will be able to follow along and visualize the different stages as a zygote transforms into a baby.
