Looking at the library books that we have in our classroom library I noticed that the characters in the majority of the books do not represent the students in our classroom. Children's books are like mirrors, they reflect the child's life and allow them to get a look into someone else's life by simply reading. In our school, all students have a special superpower which is being bilingual in English and Spanish. In order to support both languages, we must have books in both languages for them to choose from. My students love reading and they have been asking for more books because they have read them all. Help our classroom light up with color with brand new diverse and bilingual books!

About my class
