Drones are being used in so many areas in today's world. I want to give my students an opportunity to work with them and see how they can use them to solve problems. We live in a rural, highly agriculture area and so we do not have access to corporate funds or sponsors, so DonorsChoose.org is a great resource for additional funding to have a more rigorous and technological classroom. Students in this area could use the drones for weather, agriculture and many other applications. Students enjoy coding more when they can see the application of it for example on a mobile device or android or led's on a bread board.
