As you can see from the attached photo, our students are engaged daily in hands-on learning. They use dry erase markers to work out math problems on their desks, they use glue sticks and scissors to create notes in their interactive notebooks, they use adhesive notes to jot down, share, and organize their ideas, they use anchor charts to create small group class presentations, and they need pencils to do it all, every day. Our youngest learners need a safe and comfortable space to wiggle and move as the basic concepts they are learning are being etched deeper into their brains each day.
