My students have access to technology on a daily basis. We read, play math games, and watch video clips and experiments on our devices. Many of them do not bring earbuds from home or have broken the ones that were provided by the school. Unfortunately, with that comes the inevitable need for them to listen to their devices with the volume raised. Without earbuds it distracts their neighbors and makes it difficult for others to focus on their reading. Having their own earbuds would allow them to all work in quiet. The cases will provide an organization system for our classroom to ensure their long-term care...no more lost earbuds in their desks or frayed wires caught in a school box.
