I will be able to use these in our classroom as small group and individual work stations. During small group, new letters and sounds are introduced weekly. Students can have hands-on objects to help them connect the letter to the sound. Using hands on materials lets the students make connections better than a picture. My students are very visual and kinesthetic learners. In individual work stations, students can use these as assessments on alphabet orders and the ability to differentiate several sounds through sorting. Moving items around will help make brain connections that will make a lasting impression. I can see all my students, with various needs, being able to use these materials in a meaningful way.
