We are requesting a wii, games and controllers so that they can be physically active indoors. This wii console will allow my students to be physically active in the hot summer months when we can not be outside in the Las Vegas 115 degree weather. Not only will my students have fun but will gain interest in dance, movement, and being excited to be physically active. Research has proven that in order for students to retain information, and learn they need to be physically active at least 30 min a day. My students need all of the physical activity that they can get to fight obesity, and become bright young men and women! Thank you for considering my project!
