Every eighth-grader at our school looks forward to rocket week. Our school hosts a rocket field day where students build and launch air-powered water rockets. This event requires the students to design and build a rocket using a 2-litter bottle and duct tape. Roughly 400 hundred students blasting off 200+ homemade rockets over 100 meters. All of the rockets are powered by the kids filling them with air from the bike pumps you would help provide. We have the bottles, nose cones, fins, tape, and launchers; pumps are the only thing stopping us from Rocket week. Please help make this week special for the kids.

About my class
