Students in my classroom work hard to earn their grades. There are some students that struggle with behavior, and other students struggle to learn because they feel they can't do it. I want to keep all of my students motivated. The treasure box toys will be earned via my reward chart. When students meet a certain goal, they are able to choose something from the treasure box. This keeps them motivated to do homework and improve their grades. Flexible seating is important for students that struggle to focus on their learning. The wobble cushions and chair bands will be earned based on a random drawing from students who have turned in homework. This motivates student to turn in homework, and also gives them something to help them focus. In my classroom, I like to allow students time to work in groups and I also give them time to be out of their seats and doing hands on activities. This means that students are at a higher voice level and not watching the teacher, but instead interacting with each other. A wireless doorbell will be a fun way for me to draw their attention back to me. Because there are many different chimes, I can change it every so often to keep it interesting for the students.
