These social studies kits will help bring fresh ideas, hands-on learning, and games so that my students can travel through time while learning about history and other social studies related topics. My students will be able to learn about explorers that made it over to the New World, the colonists responsible for the American Revolution, the explorers that expanded our country to the west, government responsibilities, and geographical regions. These book sets will help create text sets that focus in on our social studies related topics. Since we have difficulties finding enough time to teach everything, we often times combine our subjects. Creating texts sets will give my students books to guide them as they explore social studies related topics in literature.
