The more technology my students have access to in class allows them to drive their own learning. More computers means more options to research a new topic in class and provides a new avenue for lessons. We are in need of a couple new laptops in my class. The unit we are currently working on is on the Dust Bowl. Learning about the historical significance of this time period for our country is a huge opportunity for them to learn about not only the Dust bowl, but also the politics, economics, and societal norms of the time period. Extra laptops would expand their ability to navigate all this new information.

About my class
