These materials will assist my students by aiding in the development of their reading and reading comprehension skills. Having these aids will keep my students engaged as they become more accountable for their education. The reading resources that can be used in small groups will give my students more control over what they know they need help with. With these resources, I can assist my students with closing educational gaps which will leave them feeling more confident and focused. The worst feeling is watching a struggling reader continue to struggle and be embarrassed with their performance. Students are aware of their abilities and so are their peers. There is nothing more heartwarming to a teacher when we see the light bulb turn bright in a student's mind when they feel accomplished. This project will contribute to my students moving further in their education with a confidence that they can do anything!
