Having these acoustic guitars in my music class will allow the students to learn how to play these guitars, it will allow the students to present their music during concerts or talent shows, and it would allow students to have a background knowledge of playing a guitar as they move onto middle school and high school. Many of the 500 plus students I see each day, do not get this kind of opportunity to see, practice, or play these instruments. This would allow all of the students to become familiar with how to play a guitar and lead them into future life decisions with music being involved.
