Creative writing can be a challenging and abstract topic for many students to master or get excited about. I have the incredible opportunity to use a role-playing game like Dungeons and Dragons increase student engagement in narrative writing lessons. Every student in the course will learn key narrative elements while enhancing community between classmates. Additionally, these games offer opportunities for artistic development through model building and statistical analysis with 20 sided dice. Your donation will quite literally make creative writing and statistics fun for my students. This will be a learning experience unlike any other, and I cannot wait to have a front-row seat in watching my students' passion and creativity grow.
