These materials will have a tremendous impact on students learning. They are so excited about reading however, they have limited access to books and materials. Providing this library will give students the opportunity to apply strategies they’ve learned while reading books they enjoy. Providing students with books that are culturally relevant and books that peeks the students interests, also allows them to feel and believe that what they learn and hear about is also a possibility for them. We do our best going to the library and borrowing books for the classroom, but even those books are limited. What better way to become a proficient reader than to read!

About my class
