These laundry baskets will act as storage to house each different game that I already have in mind for the teachers and students during recess; this will provide lots of opportunity for development. The extra baskets will house the students' home lunches and water bottles to keep them from getting dirty from the constant wind that blows up the dirt and grass. The cones will be used as markers in each different game that I have already created. Building the foundation to any program is essential, and these materials will be part of that foundation. What we lack in materials, we make up for with creativity, but sometimes having those materials is necessary to further improve the system. My vision for our Peaceful Playgrounds recess system is that it will provide safety, organization, and opportunity for our students and teachers as well as increase our students' motivation to learn, fail forward, grow, and enjoy coming to school. The students deserve the opportunity to develop not just their minds with curriculum, but their entire whole being with a variety of recreational activities. Peaceful Playgrounds will serve as the catalyst to boost each student's morale, abilities, and capabilities to become the responsible citizens our society needs.
