The materials requested will help our students revamp their outdoor gardens and get our greenhouse up and running again after the hurricane. Our goal is to help make the students’ learning hands-on and engaging while also teaching them about their environmental footprint. The activities made possible by donations will get the students outside, expand the classroom beyond the traditional four-wall setting, and provide them with a way to explore the environment and multiple careers fields. The items grown in our gardens and greenhouses will give the students a sense of accomplishment and help build their confidence about school and learning.

About my class
