In the past my class has utilized podcasts, TED Ed videos, or author interviews to enhance whatever literature or research project we are working with. This year, I want to be able to give my kids more choice in selecting what they read and what they research. That means kids will need to each listen to and watch different things. My students already have access to chrome books, but we don't have audio access that won't disturb the person in the neighboring seat. I feel that having choice will make my students more interested and invested in their learning. Now instead of researching a random topic I pick, students will tailor their research to their own interests and goals. Greater investment will mean deeper learning.
